Senior Staff AccountantAs a Senior Staff Accountant you will have the following qualifications: - Completed a CA, CMA, or CGA professional designation.
- Experience in assurance and compilation engagements for owner managed businesses.
- Experience in municipal, educational, and for-profit audit engagements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in researching accounting and taxation issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience in using software including Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Caseware and Microsoft programs.
As a Senior Staff Accountant you will be responsible for: - The preparation and review of assurance and compilation engagements.
- Planning and supervising the engagement.
- Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities for owner managed businesses.
- Meeting and communicating with clients throughout the engagement.
- Managing relationships within the engagement team.
- Providing feedback and evaluations on staff within the engagement team.
- Preparation, review, assigning, and supervision of preparation of personal income tax returns.
