Fletcher Mudryk in the Community

Fletcher Mudryk is a locally owned firm that has been supporting our community since 1935.

The Grande Prairie Area has been very good to us for these 85 years, and we enjoy returning that gift in kind. Stronger businesses strengthen a community, and a strong community is better able to sustain a thriving business environment. At Fletcher Mudryk, we use our time, skills and resources to give back to our community, strengthening local organizations, businesses and individuals.

Philanthropy is more than just a word in our office, it is an integral part of our culture. We encourage our entire team to be involved in the community, representing the firm in an integral way by coaching, volunteering and mentoring. We want to give back to our community that has shared so much with each of us.

In order to have the greatest impact in the Grande Prairie Area, we have selected a few primary initiatives upon which to focus our efforts.

Northwestern Alberta Foundation

Our firm made the decision to support the Smart & Caring Leaders program when we saw the Foundation’s objectives met our firm vision focusing on trust, respect and pride – not only in the work we do, but in our involvement in our community. Local support of our community is what being in business is about; and we have such an incredible community to be proud of, yet with so many areas of need.

The Northwestern Alberta Foundation prides itself in connecting businesses to those greatest needs, so it seemed an easy fit to support an organization that makes long term commitment to this community its priority.

Northwestern Polytechnic

The annual NWP Golf Classic the second largest fundraiser for the NWP, and it is well on its way to becoming the best charity golf tournament in the region. Fletcher Mudryk has been the title sponsor of this event since 2015.

We believe that the NWP is an integral part of that community, offering a wide selection of valuable programs and providing high-quality graduates. Our firm makes an effort to hire local talent, and the NWP has been an excellent source for quality employees. In the past ten years, more than fifty-five of our past and current recruits have been alumni of the NWP!
