We accept applications from students who are currently enrolled in a business, management, or commerce degree program. Hiring opportunities are typically open in September for employment the following year. Students may be hired on a seasonal or permanent basis. Applicants genuinely interested in launching a career in accounting will be given precedence. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to rapidly absorb and utilize information in a fast-paced work environment
- A thorough understanding of accounting and the accounting industry
- Basic experience in or understanding of various software programs, including Sage 50, QuickBooks, CaseWare, and Microsoft Office a definite asset
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Very reliable
Responsibilities:
- Initial preparation of working papers, financial statements corporate and personal income tax returns, GST returns, payroll for owner managed businesses, T4s, T5s
- General bookkeeping and data entry
- Meeting deadlines as assigned by the partner or senior staff accountant
- Handling and filing confidential information as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
